One and Two Rix Dollar Patterns for the Ceylon Government dated 1812 not issued to circulation. Uniface unlike patterns minted in Silver. Designed few Years after the Last of Silver Rix Dollar Dump coins issued in 1809.

Comment by Pridmore The execution of this pattern is ascribed to Thomas Wyon junior (1792-1817) who was appointed Pro-batidner Engraver of the Royal Mint 1811 Nov. 20 and Chief Engraver on 1815 Oct. 13
