India will be kept privy to peace moves
Inclusion of Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner in New Delhi Mangala Moonesinghe in last week’s deliberations with the Norwegian Foreign Minister Knut Vollebaek on the proposed negotiations with the LTTE has indicated Sri Lanka’s desire to keep India in the picture, officials and analysts said yesterday.

Moonesinghe, a former MP and an expert on constitutional reforms was summoned from New Delhi early last week to take part in the Wednesday’s [16] deliberations with Vollebaek and returned two days later, after further consultations with the government leadership, the sources said.
