SAARC summit invitation
Amidst Sri Lankan
initiated efforts to find suitable dates for the
SAARC summit in July, Pakistani premier Nawaz
Sharif has postponed a scheduled meeting with
Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar and had left
for an international fund raising campaign. |
Mr.
J. C. P. S. Siriwardena, winner of the
award for the best Sinhala novel titled
‘Pambaya’ for the year 1997, at
Saturday’s D. R. Wijewardena awards
ceremony, in conversation with renowned
author Ms. Sumithra Rahubadda. Mr.
Siriwardena’s wife and daughter are
also in the picture. The awards ceremony
was held at the Sri Lanka Foundation
Institute (SLFI).
