The call for
violence-free elections to the Provincial
Councils emerged shortly after the
nominations closed for the Western
Provincial Council this week. It came
from the nine political party leaders who
gave nominations vying to be the next
chief minister of the province. They were
joined by the leader of the Independent
team which is contesting the province. |
