LTTE
to free Indian crew of bombed ship
The LTTE had agreed to free the 17-member Indian
crew from the MV Princess Kash they
had seized on Friday off the Mullaitivu coast,
the International Committee of the Red Cross
(ICRC) said yesterday. But the fate of the four
Sri Lanka crewmen on board remained uncertain.
An ICRC spokesman said that the Tigers were
willing to release the 17 Indians but high level
talks were on about the four Lankans on board.
