Auditor General raps SEC


Prime Minister Sirimavo Bandaranaike yesterday presented a harmonium to a poor blind man to enable him to eke out a living. The recipient, D. G. Premaratne had appealed for this musical instrument at the Hanguranketha Presidential People’s Service as he was totally blind and had no way of making ends meets. Samurdhi, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister S. B. Dissanayake was also present at the ceremony at the Prime Minister’s office. The presentation was made under the Ceylinco Relief Fund.
