The
70-member Japanese Buddhist delegation
now in Sri Lanka, yesterday presented 50
scholarships to mark former President J.
R. Jayewardenes second death
anniversary. The scholarships will be
awarded to 50 poor school children of the
Kelaniya area. Ven. Ruygen Tanaka
