Pakistani national, who attempted
to smuggle in heroin valued at
Rs. 500,000 strapped to his arms,
was caught by Customs officials
at the Bandaranaike International
Airport early yesterday. The
suspect who arrived aboard an Air
Lanka flight from Karachchi had
strapped 300 grammes of heroin in
two packs to his arms and was
wearing a lounge suit to escape
detection.As he aroused the
suspicion of Assistant
Superintendent D. D. S. C.
Michael,he was taken in for a
body search.Customs officers
removing the strapped packs of
