Tamil political parties have joined LTTE terrorists in attacking Sri
Lanka’s position that the ongoing war against the LTTE was an internal matter and no
third party including the UN could play a role to end it.Tamil
politicians said that they are not prepared to accept the government’s position. The
government, a senior TULF official said must be prepared to seek international mediation
to end the crisis. |

took a ride on the Ruhunu Kumari from Galle to Colombo Fort last week as part of his
"listening campaign’’ to the voices of the people. Wickremesinghe not only
listened to the problems of commuters on the train but also responded to questions that
