Obverse : A standing bull facing right within double rectangular frame.
Reverse : A triangle with rounded edges enclosing a small central circle (dot). Dot on top apex, break to right. Break in middle of bottom.

Bopearachchi and Wickremesinhe in Ruhuna illustrates two copper coins from Akurugoda of same type H.23 (12 mm, 0.62 gms) and H.24 (10 mm, 0.24 gms).

These coins are however smaller and lighter than all the Rectangular Bull Type coins listed in Codrington who has a variety of sizes from 16 mm to 28 mm and weights from 1.8 gms to 13 gms and illustrates two in Pl.16 and PL.17.

The coins were scanned at 600dpi and displayed at 500dpi. Upper Specimen was obtained in December 1999 from Rajah Wickremesinhe an Author and collector in Colombo, Lanka. Lower two Specimens ex: Raja Wickramasinghe, are from part of Lalith Raddella's collection I purchased in 2016 December.
