The 1943 proof in Nickel Brass of this old design was not issued into
circulation. It has Pridmore Type 1 (no vertical lines between dots)
Security edge as in issued 1943
coin of new design.
Remick catalog says 6-10 copies known of this Fifty cents proof only issue.
