Obverse : Crowned arms of West Friesland: Two identicle horizontal lions
standing left with front right paw raised, divides two stuiver
value 2 S all within dash circle.
Reverse : Mint mark with dot ( ⚫ ) on either side.

WEST/FRI/SIÆ.
Year 17xx below, all within dash circle.
Mint Mark: Crane (1711-714); Turnip (1715-1739); Rooster (1744-1760);
Herringship (1761-1773); Rosette (1774-1794).
Codrington X§26. Double stuiver (iii) Provincial Arms lists coins
from Holland, Utrecht, West Friesland, and Zeeland are found in Lanka.
This 2 Stuiver is 11% under-weight which may be
accounted for by ware during circulation
The coins were cleaned lightly with with 15% Solution of citric Acid
to expose detail.
Coins were scanned at 600 dpi and displayed at 300 dpi.
The 1787 coin was purchased in USA between 1998 and 2004.
