Obverse : The bare head of King Edward~VII facing right. Along periphery legend EDWARDVS VII D: G: BRITT: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP: . Original Mint Engraver George William De Saulles placed small initials DeS in relief below the Truncation. Additional PSA of unknown representation. May be of local Engraver or Jewellery Store.
Reverse: St. George with Steamer flowing from Helmet, mounted on horse rearing right, slaying with sword in right hand, the dragon on ground. Year 1908 below the representation of ground, with designer Benedetto Pistrucci's initials B.P. to the right.

Comparing with an Genuine Edward~VII Sovereign the difference is obvious, The Engraving is clearly lot cruder in Replica. Also the head looks more like that of George V rather than King Edward VII.

The replica Sovereign was scanned at 600 dpi and displayed at 300 dpi It was gifted by Hatton National Bank in 20?? to customer in a small Blue velvet covered Jewelry Box which has HNB PATHUM UDANAYA in inside upper cover. My Friend was happy to trade it for a genuine sovereign.
