mint mark above between two identicle symbols
and year of issue 17xx below, broken by bottom of monogram.
Years of Issue from Scholten
No Zeeland half Duit has been Listed in Lowsley(1895) or Codrington(1914) as
having been found in Ceylon, and therefore was probably not imported to Lanka.
N & v.d. Ch p 129 mentions a half doit of Zeeland 1782 but if genuine
this piece is lost.
