Prof. Nimal de Silva – President
Emeritus Professor of Architecture, University of Moratuwa and Director General of the Central Cultural Fund and member of the Advisory Board, Departments of Archaeology and National Museums. Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects, Royal Institute of British Architects and Sri Lanka Council of Archaeologists. Honorary President of ICOMOS (Sri Lanka) and the International President of ICOMOS Scientific Committee on Wall Paintings. Formerly Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology, Chairman of the Urban Development Authority and National Design Center. He is the author of several books and research publications.

Dr. Roland Silva - Honorary President
Ph.D. (Leiden). Commissioner of Archaeology and the Director General of the Central Cultural Fund, that implemented the UNESCO-Sri Lanka Project of the Cultural Triangle. Former President of the World Body of Conservators, ICOMOS; and UNESCO Chair, Post Graduate Institute of Archaeology. Present Chancellor, University of Moratuwa. Has been a Fellow of several international councils in the fields of Architecture, Archeology and Conservation and recipient of many awards in these fields nationally and internationally and was awarded national honours of Vidya Jyothi and Deshamanya. Has over three hundred published books and academic articles.

Mr Udaya Kadurugamuwa – Deputy President
The Precedent Partner of F. J & G de Saram until 2012, Attorneys-at-Law. A lawyer in practice for more than 40 years in corporate and commercial law. Director of several companies. Member of the Advisory Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Member of the Council of Management of the Institute for the Development of Commercial Law and Practice. Has served on several Commissions, Boards and Committees relating to law, the legal profession and commerce.

Mr. Kanaganayagam Kanag-Isvaran – Snr.Vice President
President's Counsel, . Graduate in Law of the University of London, Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln's Inn, London, and Advocate of the Supreme Court. of Sri Lanka.He is a Member of the Council of the University of Colombo, Member of the Council of Management of the 'Institute for the Development of Commercial Law and Practice' (ICLP) and a Director of the ICLP 'Arbitration Centre.'He has written extensively and lectured locally and abroad on several subjects, touching his area of practice and is the co-editor of "Arbitration Law in Sri Lanka".

Archt. Ashley de Vos - Vice President
FSLIA, RIBA. Chartered Architect, Landscape Architect and Conservation and Heritage Management, Faculty Member - University of Moratuwa, International Centre for Conservation, Rome (ICCROM) and ACCU (Nara, Japan). Director Conservation to the Jetavana Monastery Conservation Project. An advisor to the Government of India on tourism development of the Northern Buddhist Sites. Past President of ICOMOS (Sri Lanka) and Wildlife & Nature Protection Society of Sri Lanka. Awardee, South Asian Architect of the Year and SL Institure of Architects (SLIA) Special Life Time Award of Excellence. Honoured with national awards of Vidya Jyothi and Deshamanya.

N G Wickremeratne - Vice President
BSc. University of Ceylon, Peradeniya. Previously Chairman and CEO of Hayleys Group and presently Director of Hatton National Bank PLC and Finlays Colombo PLC. Member of the Advisory Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Founder signatory and Steering Committee member of the CEO's Water Mandate of the UN Global Compact and member of the Leadership Group on Water Security in Asia of the Asia Society, NY.

Archt. Pali Wijeratne
Chartered Architect / Town Planner trained in Conservation and Management of Heritage Monuments and Sites. Managing Director of Environmental Planning Services (Pvt) Ltd., a consultancy providing services in Architecture, Town Planning and Conservation of Heritage Monuments and Sites. Served as Director Conservation of UNESCO – Sri Lanka Sigiriya Project. Honorary Member – International Scientific Committee on the Analysis of Structures of Architectural Heritage (ISCARSAH) and Expert Member – ICOMOS Scientific Committee on Cultural Tourism (ICT). Past President, ICOMOS Sri Lanka. Board Member, Urban Development Authority.

Prof. Jagath Weerasinghe
Professor, Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology and the Coordinator of Conservation and Heritage Programs. MFA Degree in Painting, American University, Washington. Visiting Scholar, University of California at Berkeley and ICROM Fellowship for Conservation Studies ICROM. Conservation Expert to ICOMOs and other international institutions and world heritage sites. Acclaimed Painter and Artist who has participated and exhibited extensively in art projects internationally and in the country in collaboration with leading artists. Has published widely on Art.

Ms. Rohini L. Nanayakkara
BA Honours (University of Ceylon, Peradeniya), Diploma in French (Chamber of Commerce, Brussels), Fellow of the Institute of Management & the Institute of Bankers, Sri Lanka, a past President of the Sri Lanka Banks Association, Association of Professional Bankers, a member of the Commission of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. First woman General Manager/CEO of a Bank in Sri Lanka.Presently Chairperson of the LOLC Group of Companies, Browns Group and Director of several other Companies.

Archt. Ismeth Raheem
Architect from the Royal Academy, Copenhagen. Worked with Geoffrey Bawa prior to setting up own architectural partnership. His publications include Archaeology and Photography: the early years 1868 to 1870; Images of British Ceylon: Nineteenth Century Photography of Sri Lanka. Catalogues for exhibitions designed by him include Germans in Dutch and British Ceylon(Goethe Institute); Engravings and Paintings of the Dutch and British Colonial Periods(British Council); and entries for The Dictionary of Art(London: Macmillan).

Mr. Sirinimal Lakdusinghe
M.A. University of Kelaniya.Former Director of the Department of National Museums, Sri Lanka and, later, Director of the PGIAR. Fellow of the Council of Sri Lanka Archeologists. Chairman of Paintings and Sculpture Council of the Arts Council of Sri Lanka. Chairman of the Annual Bibliography of Indian Archeology (ABIA). Art-historian, critic and author of several books and articles.

Archt. D. P. Chandrasekera
Senior Lecturer, Department of Architecture, University of Moratuwa . He has published several articles on Heritage, Housing and Human Settlements. He has co- authored three books on Sri Lankan architecture; "Heritage Buildings of Sri Lanka", "Ambalama Buildings" and " Tampita Image houses".

Ms. Upekha Chitrasena
Foremost dancer of Sri Lanka for the past two decades and currently the managing director of the Chitrasena Dance Company. She has danced to many distinguished audiences and heads of state including Queen Elizabeth II and Crown Prince Akihito of Japan. In 1994 performed at the Baird Auditorium of the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, Washington and the Kaufman Concert Hall, New York.. She performed as a soloist with Jonathan Hollander's Battery Dance Company of New York in 1996.Invited to work with Mdme. Ariane Mnouchkine and to perform at the Theatre du Soleil in Paris in 1999-2005. Performed as the principal dancer of the Chitrasena Dance Company at the Sadler's Wells Theatre in London. Performed as Guest Artiste in 'Flowers Will Always Bloom' at the Meeting of the Heads of Commonwealth States held in Brisbane, Australia in 2001.

Dr. Nilan Cooray
Associate Member of Sri Lanka Institute of Architect. Chartered Architect and Heritage Conservation and Management Consultant. Visiting Lecturer University of Moratuwa; the Department of Archaeology, the PGIAR, Sri Lanka Institute of Architects and UNESCO's World Heritage Institute of Training and Research, Suzhou, China. Served on international monitoring and evaluation missions to UNESCO's World Heritage Sites in Asia. Was associated with the conservation of the World Heritage Sites at Polonnaruva and Anuradhapura. Author of many research papers on heritage conservation.

Archt. Jayatissa Herath
Chartered Architect, presently a Council Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects and the joint Secretary of the ICOMOS Sri Lanka. Involve in conservation and heritage Management activities as a Consultant and also a visiting lecturer at University of Sri Jayewardhenepura and University of Kelaniya. Participated for several international workshops and training programmes in conservation sharing experience in the field. Served the Central Cultural Fund as a Project Manager and an Assistant Director for more than a decade.

Dr Sarala Fernando
PhD. Master of International Public Policy (MIPP), Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Professional diplomat in the Sri Lanka Foreign Service. Served as Ambassador to Thailand, Ambassador to Sweden, Permanent Representative to the United Nations and International Organizations in Geneva, with concurrent accreditation as Ambassador to the Holy See and Consul General to Switzerland. Former Additional Secretary in the Foreign Ministry. Director of the (now Lakshman Kadirgamar) Sri Lanka Institute of International Relations, Consultant to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director General of the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute.

Dr. Kavan Ratnatunga
PhD ANU (Canberra) researcher in astrophysics and astronomy at Princeton, the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory in Canada, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Johns Hopkins University and Carnegie Mellon University. Has some 50 publications in refereed Journals on astrophysics. Former President of the Sri Lanka Numismatic Society. He is President of the Astronomical Association of Lanka. He is a visiting Lecturer on Astronomy at the University of Moratuwa, on Space at the Defence Service Command and Staff College and on Digital Collections at the PGIAR.

Ms. Ayomi Aluwihare-Gunawardene
Partner of the law firm F. J. & G. de Saram. She heads the corporate/commercial law practice of the firm.

Mr. Nissanka Weerasekera
Managing Director responsible for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh of The Abraaj Group, a leading investor in growth markets. Prior to that he was the Regional Managing Partner for South and Central Asia of Aureos Capital, a UK-based private equity fund manager operating in emerging markets in Africa, Asia and Central America. He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. He graduated from the University of Peradeniya in Physics and holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Colombo.
